Community Grants

Council will consider the recommendations for the 2017-18 Community Grants Program recipients at the Council Meeting on Tuesday 29 August 2017. The meeting is open to the public and you are welcome to attend at the Council Chambers at the Beechworth office at Mayday Hills.

Funding available in 2017-2018

A total of $47,500 is available for 'General' and 'Arts and Culture' projects in 2017-2018. In addition, $2,500 is available for 'Youth Initiatives'. Successful grants will range from $200 to $4,000.

Please read through the Guidelines' Community Grants Policy and the Criteria for Assessment of Grants for more information on eligibility criteria, application requirements, GST information and other conditions.

Attending a Community Grant Workshops

Council will hold workshops to explain the application process, answer any questions from the community and showcase the types of projects which may be funded. Applicants are encouraged to attend a grant workshop.

  • Chiltern Senior Citizens Club Wednesday 14 June 2.30pm-4pm
  • Rutherglen Senior Citizens Wednesday 14 June 5pm-6.30pm
  • Yackandandah Public Hall Thursday 15 June 1.30pm-3pm
  • Beechworth Town Hall Friday 16 June 9.30am-11am
  • Coulston Park Community Facility, Kiewa-Tangambalanga Monday 19 June 11.30am-1pm
