Community Services

Indigo Shire Council takes a lead role in strategically planning services and facilities to meet the needs of its communities. Council's Community Services Team, as part of the Community Planning Unit, provides a comprehensive range of services and programs to support older people, people with a disability and children and families so they can continue to play a proactive role in their local community.

Council's services range from Maternal and Child Health Centres, Meals on Wheels, Youth Centres, Home and Community Care, Community Meals and other support services. An army of volunteers helps Council staff to provide these services. The following pages set out some of the services and how to access them.
