Mystery knitters in Beechworth and Yackandandah

 photo.jpg

For several months now, textile art has been appearing in public spaces in Beechworth and Yackandandah.  Who is doing it?  Is there a team of knitters who surreptitiously adorn the street furniture in the dead of night?  Or are they brazenly creating and installing their work in the light of day? Pictured is an great example that has been brightening up the bike rack near the Beechworth Bakery. Keep an eye out for new work, and send your pictures to: sreid@indigoshire.vic.gov.au
