Rutherglen Rural Living Study

On 31st May 2016, Council at its ordinary meeting, resolved to adopt the Rutherglen Rural Living Study and prepare necessary Amendments to the Indigo Planning Scheme to implement it.  This is proposed to be addressed via two separate amendments.  One for the area south of Rutherglen (C68) and one for the area to the north (C73).

Authorisation to commence preparation of Amendment C68 has been received and the amendment is now on exhibition.

Where you may inspect this Amendment

The Amendment is available for public inspection, free of charge, during office hours at the following places:

The Amendment can also be inspected free of charge at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning website at

Council resolved to adopt the Amendment at it's meeting of the 20 December 2016 and the Amendment has been submitted to the Minister for approval. The Amendment will have affect once approved by the Minister and notice of the approval is published in the Government Gazette.
